May 8th of every year is World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, and the anniversary of the birth of Henry Dunant, the founder of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.This year also marks the 60th anniversary of the adoption of the Seven Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. To celebrate these significant milestones, the Hong Kong Red Cross Humanitarian Education and Volunteer Development Service will host the "World Red Cross Day 2025 - V Together" event on May 4.
We warmly invite our volunteers, members of the Henry Dunant Club, and their families and friends to join us in celebrating World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day. This event offers a unique opportunity to deepen our understanding of the concepts, origins, and significance of the day, as well as the Fundamental Principles. Enjoy avariety of engaging activities, including games, sharing sessions, experiential experiences, exhibitions, and workshops. Participants can also collect stamps on their game cards by taking part in activities, which can later be redeemed for exciting prizes.
Requirement
1) Organizing:For those who are interested in offering assistance on game booth making and on the event day, please contact us on or before 4 April.
2) Participating: Volunteers, members of the Henry Dunant Club, and their relatives and friends are welcome to join and enjoy the event.

How to Participate:
After completing the registration, participants will receive a confirmation email and message from the Humanitarian Education and Volunteer Development Service by April 30, 2025.
On the event day, participants may check in presenting their confirmation email and message to receive a game card. The game card grants access to various activities throughout the event. Please note that the 'Sharing Sessions and Experiential Activities' and 'Workshops' are scheduled at specific time slots, and on-the-dayregistration is required to participate. Seats for these sessions are limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
